I specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), which is an evidence-based effective approach to helping individuals overcome difficult circumstances and fulfill their potential. CBT identifies and challenges thoughts that fuel negative emotions and create problems in your life. My approach is structured and goal oriented to maximize your growth and personal development. As a team, we establish an agenda at the beginning of each session to make sure that we address pressing concerns, and we tackle the factors that contribute to your challenges. We work together in developing strategies to address problems in a new way and create positive change. Ultimately, my goal is to support you in achieving your goals more efficiently.

I also have an expertise in Motivational Interviewing, which is an evidence-based method of communication to enhance motivation for behavior change. In collaboration, we explore which habits to change to improve your physical health and your emotional well-being. By talking about change in the context of what you care about and value, you will feel more committed to change and improve your quality of life.
